Recorded twice for East and West coast viewers, the live episode of 30 Rock caused much hype when it aired in the USA on October 14th. We couldn’t persuade Liz and Alec to film their lines for a third time for us but what we do have is the best bits of both shows merged into one episode.

Show Synopsis
On show night, Liz Lemon grows increasingly infuriated when no one seems to remember that it's her 40th birthday. Just before the taping, Tracy becomes convinced that nothing is funnier than a performer laughing and breaking character, which he elects to do all night, much to Jenna's chagrin. Meanwhile, Jack struggles with the consequences of his promise to give up alcohol while Avery is pregnant.
